December 13, 2017
By the time Chris and Lauren’s December wedding day arrived, the two of them felt more like friends than clients. We were blessed enough to provide our wedding services for Chris’ sister and her husband in March as well as their close friends this past October. Each of these couples are equally incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin and end the year than with their amazing family and friends.
Having Chris and Lauren’s wedding behind us is bitter-sweet. We are obviously elated that this beautiful, spirit filled, God fearing couple has finally become one. However, on the other hand, months of working together, planning and chatting back and forth has come to an end. Thankfully, Facebook has made it easier to keep up with our couples. We want to continue to share in their joys and pray for them along life’s journey.
Devail & I got married in December but if you’ve read our bio you know we never had a wedding (go figure!). This may be the reason we love December weddings so much. The joy people experience is amplified near the holidays. That feeling was undeniably present at this wedding. During dinner, Christmas music played softly in the background as guests created priceless memories in the photo booth. Christmas lights draped the ceilings of their wonderfully decorated reception venue. Tables were adorned with flickering candles coupled with vases filled with gorgeous gold and cranberry colored ornaments. Our favorite element was the mistletoe! As Devail announced the newlyweds to their loved ones for the second time that day, Chris & Lauren embraced with a loving kiss under the mistletoe just before having their first dance as husband & wife. Chris & Lauren, thank you for sharing your wedding day with us. It’s our prayer that your marriage will always bring glory to God, joy to one another and blessings to those around you. May the home and life you build together be filled with love and laughter forever.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. DeGroff!
