Brandon and Stephanie’s destination wedding was absolutely amazing. Stephanie’s brother officiated the sweet ceremony with the Atlantic Ocean as his backdrop. The ceremony was simple yet elegantly adorned with tulle lighting lining the aisle. There was so much to love about their big day, but below are 4 of my favorite things.

My Fav’s:

1. Mashed Potato Bar – Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes, bacon bits, cheese, chives & sour cream – need I say more? For the guests who preferred a healthier meal, there were also mashed sweet potatoes. Additional toppings included candied nuts, marshmallows, roasted garlic, tapenade (admittedly, I don’t even know what that is), wasabi and pesto. There was something for everyone!
2. Late Night Snack – Is it bad that it’s about food again? After a long fun-filled night of dancing, a late night treat is the perfect surprise. Brandon & Stephanie’s family and friends were treated to an ice cream bar where they could go with the classic scoop as well as chocolate chip cookie for an ice cream sandwich.
3. Background Music for the Toast – The matron of honor and best man asked us to play Maroon 5’s “Memories” as the soundtrack to their speeches, which without a doubt, set the perfect mood for their heartfelt toasts to the newlyweds.
4. The Staged Exit – Whether real or staged, the send off photo might be one of the best shots from your wedding day. Sometimes the photographer is not contracted through the end of the reception or you are not actually leaving your venue. In this case, it would be a great idea to stage an exit. Doing so will ensure your wedding photos tell a complete story of your day. Brandon and Stephanie had their faux exit right on the dance floor. Their family and friends formed two lines each waiving the beautifully lit tulle from the ceremony. As the couple made their way down the line they posed for a quick kiss for the camera. It was a beautiful site to see in person but the pictures from that moment will be pure magic.
