This past weekend we had the honor of providing our services to an amazing couple from 2 spectacular families. Courtney and Marcos celebrated their union in the exact same location her parents had their wedding reception over 20 years ago. How awesome is that?! I’m sure that meant the world to her parents and also made the night extra special for the newlyweds.
Trying to plan a wedding is complicated enough, but add different cultures, family traditions and a language barrier to the mix and you’ve got an entirely different degree of complexity. While planning a multicultural wedding may seem like a daunting task, Courtney & Marcos pulled it off seamlessly. In an especially sentimental moment, the father of the bride delivered a portion of his toast in Spanish. During our planning meeting, Courtney & Marcos were concerned about providing entertainment for 2 different cultures. It was obvious they both love their families very much. We assured them that music is the universal language & both their families were going to have a great time. I know I may be a little biased but Devail did a phenomenal job ensuring these newly united families were both included in the celebration and having the time of their lives.
Regardless of the language barrier there was no mistaking the expression of love from the Finkenauer & Lopez families.
It was our great pleasure to take part in this momentous occasion. Thank you, Courtney & Marcos, for allowing us to celebrate with you.
Blessings,
Devail & Nikki
